Out on K Street in Mojave, California, where the wind cuts through the desert and the nearest city feels a long way off, Lodge #2059 has been holding things together. Members show up for each other, for veterans, for families who need a hand, and for anyone who just wants a good meal and a seat at the table. That 4.7-star rating across 26 reviews is not an accident. It is the result of people who genuinely mean it when they say hello.

The third Wednesday of every month is when the Lodge's food distribution program runs, and it draws people from across the high desert. Reviewers describe it in capital letters because that is the only way to do it justice: COURTEOUS, FAIR, RESPECTFUL. Volunteers treat every person who comes through the line with the same dignity. Service dogs are welcome. Neighbors are welcome. Everyone is welcome.

Beyond the food bank, members gather for steak dinners, community events, and the kind of easy fellowship that is hard to find anywhere else in a town this size. Mojave Elks Lodge #2059 is not trying to be something it is not. It is exactly what this stretch of the Mojave Desert needs.

What We Offer

The Lodge runs one of the most talked-about monthly food distributions in the Antelope Valley, held on the third Wednesday of every month at the 16200 K St location. Volunteers coordinate to make sure every visit is organized, respectful, and genuinely helpful. Bring your questions, bring your service animal, bring a neighbor who could use the support.

Membership opens the door to community dinners, social events, and a network of fellow Elks who take the organization's charitable mission seriously. The Lodge supports youth programs, veterans' initiatives, and local causes that keep Mojave connected. Whether you are a longtime member or just curious about joining, the people here will make you feel like you already belong.
